Environment description: Steep rock slope in canyon along dry creek.
Number of plants sampled: 20
Associated species: Bouteloua sp.
Comment: Collected the largest spike from each plant sampled. Sampled along localized 30 meter stretch spanning approximately 5 meters wide. Only one other localized population noted (one tenth of a mile away from sampled area) along a 6.5 mile stretch. Collection assisted by Russ Kleinman.
