Narrative

Plant grows 4-40 inches tall and is densely covered with woolly hairs. Many stems, bare. Flower heads grow singly on stalks, with 8-13 yellow ray flowers with many yellow disk flowers. When plant seeds, they remain inside the flower cup on the stem, making for easy collection (not as time dependent).
