S13-1955C is a mid-maturity group 5 (relative maturity of 5.5) non-GMO soybean [Glycine max (L). Merr.] cultivar. Plants of S13-1955C have determinate growth habit with white flowers, tawny pubescence, and tan pod walls at maturity. They have on average 78.5 cm height and 2.1 lodging score. Seeds of S13-1955C have black hilum, intermediate seed luster, and an average seed weight of 13.6 g per 100 seeds. They average 392.5 g kg-1 in protein and 227.4 g kg-1 in oil on a dry weight basis. S13-1955C has broad disease resistance package, including soybean cyst nematode [Heterodera glycines Ichinohe], southern root-knot nematode [Meloidogyne incognita (Kofoid and White) Chitwood], reinform nematode [Rotylenchulus reniformis Linford & Oliveira], sudden death syndrome [Fusarium virguliforme O’Donell & T. Aoki], and frogeye leaf spot [Cercospora sojina Hara]. S13-1955C was tested in a total of 177 environments across 13 states (2014-2019) and demonstrated broad adaptation and high yield potential.
