Comment: Shrub / perennial; height 3 ft; bark cinnamon brown - gray, smooth, yellow underneath; leaves once- or twice-pinnately compound (usually 5 leaflets), ovate to ovate-oblong; margins incisely toothed, sometimes ternate; 3 to 7 cm; flowers not present; follicles yellowish brown, 3 to 4 mm.
