Environment description: At bottom of steep slope and adjacent road. Soil gravelly, with some organic layer A-horizon.

Comment: Handsome evergreen tree, broad (to 10 m) and with nice structured branching. Height 12 m, DBH cm. Grayish-brown bark. Leaves shiny, elliptic with cuneate base and acuminate apex; cm long and cm wide; abaxial side rather dull and glabrous. Fruit large (to cm), blue-black and round drupes, borne on very bright red peduncles.
