Environment description: High-quality fen remnant (sedge/forb meadow).

Associated species: Bidens aristosa, Carex lacustris, Carex stricta, Cornus amomum, Cuscuta gronovii, Eupatorium perfoliatum, Eutrochium purpureum, Impatiens capensis, Lycopus americanus, Onoclea sensibilis, Osmunda cinnamomea, Osmunda regalis, Silphium trifoliatum and Solidago patula
Comment: Extremely small area (5 square meter area) sampled. Genetics likely from only one mother plant. Majority of stems were mature/brown, but not brittle at time of collection (09/12/2017).

Comment: Recollection. Sampled two separate stands separated by a distance of approximately 140 yards. One stand consisting of approximately 25 individuals within a 1.5 meter x 10 meter area (stems fairly scattered throughout) and the other stand consisting of approximately 60 individuals within a 1.0 meter x 15 meter area. Peak flowering in 2019 occurred near 15 July.
