Environment description: Collection site has 10-40% slope, southern and western aspects, and the soil surface is rocky. Site is in Omernik Ecoregion, Level IV- Owyhee Uplands and Canyons(80f).
Number of plants sampled: 20
Associated species: Juniperus occidentalis, Agropyron spicatum, Balsamorhiza sagittata.
Comment: Original seed collected in 2006 from 20 plants as individuals(30-400 seed per plant, 3895 seed total). Seed was started in 2007 for molecular marker work. The 30 surviving seedlings were saved for regeneration and tranplanted to the field in spring 2009.
