Environment description: Edge of field/pasture at mountain summit.
Number of plants sampled: 2
Comment: Nuts are oblong and pointed at each end, with very thin shells; a superior selection. Numerous trees in pasture edges. The nuts which are oblong and pointed at each end have very thin shells and are a superior selection from two adjacent trees of Carya ovata, from the western edge of the summit field on Bearwallow Mountain. The collector was not certain whether the selection or the typical species was labeled RL 2015-4 or RL 2015-5.
