Locality: Daeyeonpyeongdo (island): Ongjin-gun, Yeonpyeong-myeon: North side of Yeonpyeong village, at seaside. [Originally listed as Kyong Gi Province, Ongjin Gun, Taeyonpyong Island. North side of Yonpyong village, at seaside.]
Habitat: Wild Habitat
Environment description: On top of cliff facing sea, in sandy soil, full sun.
Comment: Broadleaf evergreen shrub, 2 m tall, with upright branches and some scandent juvenile stems. Leaves medium green, slightly glossy. Fruits rosy-pink with bright orange arils. Herbarium specimen # 2878.
