Environment description: Edge of woodland surrounding multi-acre remnant prairie.
Comment: Small shrubs 3-4' tall. Seeds (5) collected. Area had been hit by a serious hail storm the week previous to our visit, so many species, including this Rhus, had their leaves and fruits ripped off. No associated taxa recorded.
