Locality: Two areas sampled just south and southwest of Wilmore, including Sally Brown Preserve/Bowmans Bend on south side of Kentucky River, Garrard County and along Corman Lane approximately 0.86 miles from junction with Route 1268 on north side of Kentucky River, Jessamine County

Environment description: Deciduous forest, rocky substrate.
Number of plants sampled: 13
Associated species: Lonicera maackia, Viburnum rufidulum, Ulmus rubra, and Carya cordiformis in Garrard County and Fraxinus americana, Juniperus virginiana, Quercus muhlenbergii, Ulmus americana, Celtis tenuifolia, Morus rubra, Lonicera maackii, Panicum flexile, Polymnia canadensis, Rudbeckia triloba, and Acalypha ostryifolia in Jessamine County.
Comment: Greatest distance between two specimens sampled was 3.95 miles. Abundant/locally dominant, but rather localized to shallow to moderate drainage areas. Extremely tall (100'+) specimens showing thin canopy (50% or less). Samples harvested by Campbell, J., were obtained in 2016.
