Narrative
Accortding to the donor (email of 10/09/2015): "15Q051 is our replacement for 14Q002 which died (and was permanently lost) when it was planted in the field some months back. I planted 3 seedlngs from the same seed batch so 15Q051 is the second of these trees. I brought in this seed from a cultivated tree at the research station in LaFoa New Caledonia and it was originally collecred from near the east coast of that island (possibly also cultivated and used in traditional culture, some suggestion of being introduced by 'sandalwooders' hundreds of years ago)." Unfortunately, this accession did not establish. (RR Krueger, 11/18/2015)
