Comment: Large, multi-stemmed shrub. Height: 6m. D.B.H.: 13cm. Bark: somewhat coppery, especially on young twigs; prominent lenticels like a Prunus. Leaves: alternate; simple; ovate; coarsely serrate margins; acuminate tip; 9cm wide x 12cm long. Fruit: small red samaras, approx. 0.5cm in diameter., Photographed. Three herbarium specimens collected. Samples collected from two plants.
