Narrative
This is an isolate (the only existing isolate) of the citrus fatal yellows graft-transmissible agent. According to
Chet Roistacher
, this was introduced in 1980: "Five plants in our screenhouse were inoculated 10/13/1988 by Dr Schneider as experiment 1861. Two will be selected as sources." (RR Krueger, 07/23/2012)
