Locality: Ismayilli District, Gurbanefendi Village, near Topchu; edge of forest along road.
Coordinates: 40.8684, 48.0964 (Map it)
Environment description: Roadside, edge of forest
Comment: Young trees to 25' tall, habit symmetrical, pyramidal; leaves large, up to 8" across. Leaves with some necrotic lesions., Collected from several plants. Thought initially to be Acer velutinum, identified as A. pseudoplatanus after consulting Flora of Azerbaijan; later determined to actually be Acer velutinum.
