Locality: Sichuan Province, In a narrow east/west gorge above a stream running into Jiulong River about 15km south of Jiulong.
Environment description: open mountainside, south, regenerating trees and shrubs
Comment: Scrubby coppice with good coloured leaf, rich green above and paler below, petioles red, fruit on racemes with wings reddish/pink., Herbarium specimen collected.
