Environment description: Prior to burning, Coleogyne ramosissima-dominated shrubland; now codominated by Heliomeris multiflora and Bromus tectorum. Land used for grazing, recreation. Soil is silty loam (14 percent clay) over limestone substrate; soil color is 10YR 5/4 dry, 10YR 3/4 moist. Sloope 5 degrees.
