Locality: South-southeast of Mail Summit, along Mail Summit Road. About 4.6 miles west-northwest of intersection with Highway 318. Population along both sides of road.

Elevation: 1559m.
Habitat: Wild Habitat
Environment description: Prior to burning, Coleogyne ramosissima-dominated shrubland; now codominated by Heliomeris multiflora and Bromus tectorum. Land used for grazing, recreation. Soil is silty loam (14 percent clay) over limestone substrate; soil color is 10YR 5/4 dry, 10YR 3/4 moist. Sloope 5 degrees.
