Locality: Jefferson County. North side of Black River Great bend, a little west of intersection with Route 26. Major Land Resource Area 142.
Coordinates: 44.0347, -75.7239 (Map it)
Environment description: Ledges/shelves of limestone immediately off river, mostly in cracks and thin soil margins of ledge. Also, some seeps coming into the ledges. Further way from the river are shrubs but the main ledges are open or with only a few scattered woody plants.
