Locality: Marshall State Fish and Wildlife Area, along Illinois State Highway 26, Illinois River Watershed, approximately 18.5 miles north of Peoria, NW 1/4 of SW 1/4 of Sec. 35, NE 1/4 of SE 1/4 of Sec. 27, and SE 1/4 of NE 1/4 of Sec. 23, Marshall County.

Environment description: Mostly transisition zone at base of slopes or on gentle slopes and floodplain.
Number of plants sampled: 5
Associated species: Acer saccharum, Carya cordiformis, Celtis, Juglans nigra, Lonicera tatarica, Quercus, Ribes, Robinia pseudoacacia, Rubus, and Staphylea trifolia.
Comment: 200+ fruiting plants in area. Latitude, longitude, and elevation averaged between all specimens sampled. Coordinates for each mother tree may be provided upon request.
