according to TL-2, M. T. Masters was the editor of
Gardener's Chronicle
from 1865-1907, so authorship of this name is attributed to him under
Shenzhen ICN

although Hoog stated on p. 364 that he proposed the epithet and the plants mentioned on p. 239 were displayed under it, there is no evidence that he was the author of the description and he cannot be considered the author of the name
