Locality: 14 km up the gorge from Letkadhite. Dirt road starts 3km south of Letkadhite. This used to be a trail and is marked as such on the topo map (Anavasi Giona, Oeta, Vardousia:Topo 50, #2.3). Can drive to within 100m of the plants.

Environment description: Rocks over red sandy loam. Small (50X100m) bowl at top of high ridge. Northeast aspect, 20o slope, full sun. Area heavily grazed.

Associated species: Associated species: Astragalus, Crataegus (with berries and flowers), thistle, few grasses.
