Locality: Kakheti province; edge of Vashlovani Preserve. Waypoint 149.
Coordinates: 41.2186, 46.4225 (Map it)
Elevation: 592m.
Environment description: Dry cliff habitat, overlooking Vashlovani Preserve. Walked about 1 km into preserve where we could not collect, P. mutica was dominant. Associated vegetation: Pyrus salicifolia, Cotinus cogygria, Juniperus polycarpus.
Comment: Seed from 4 plants scattered over 0.75 km. These were the only trees of about 20 with fruit. Rounded shrubs, 2-4 m high, many with leaves abscising.
