Environment description: Edge of forest. Full sun. Population of 50 growing in occasional abundance with uniform distribution.
Number of plants sampled: 5
Associated species: Quercus rubra, Q. muehlenbergii, Q. macrocarpa, Cornus drummondii, and Carya ovata.
Comment: Site 3. Plants starting to show purple-orange fall color at time of collection. Little seed production due to shading/competition and the majority of plants being male. Seed quality poor (insect infested and empty).
