Narrative
Single- to multi-stemmed, deciduous herbaceous plants with an inflorescence at the top. Flowers borne in the axils of the leaves near the top. 0.5-1 m tall. Basal leaves narrow and long; from 0.5-3.0 cm wide and up to 40 cm long. Stem leaves shorter and narrower.
