Narrative
Evergreen perennial. Long (up to 4 feet), erect, flowering stalks arising from a thick crown. Large pinto to lavender-pink blossoms with red-violet throats occur along the stalks for several weeks in late spring and early summer. Flowers give off a very unique and pleasant fragrance that is not found in other pensteimon species, which usually have little or no scent.
