Environment description: Alpine soil, 40? slope WNW. The Western Trialeti range represents a fold of the Minor Caucasus Mountains and comprise a deeply dissected steep mountain terrain. The high peaks and Tskhratskaro Pass are composed of Tertiary igneous rocks.
Number of plants sampled: 50
Comment: Vegetation is represented by polydominant subalpine wet meadows on the slope with natural spring. Rare species of this area are Swertia iberica and Dactylorhiza euxina.
