Environment description: Exposed slope, open area
Comment: Mixed collection, second site about a mile south of north collection area (37.90743, -121.94871). Very large, scattered clumps, 25-50 tall (3-3.5 m) plants, just past peak flowering. Flowering stems branched above. No diseases observed.
