Environment description: alpine area with small stunted spruce, stunted bamboo very windy area, very cold in winter
Comment: USDA ARS 2004 Plant Expedition in association with MAFF Associated species: on topy of log with moss, Lycopodium These plants were stunted by the windy exposed spot that they were growing on. Fruit were green, immature. Seeds may not be ripe enough.
