Locality: North of Otoineppu-mura, Mt. Pankesan, Nakagawa Experimental Forest, on the way down the mountain. Fruit were a bit back on a slope down to the road edge.

Comment: USDA ARS 2004 Plant Expedition in association with MAFF Ripe red fruits were present along with green fruit.
