Environment description: Growing in damp swampy area near the river. Associated species: under Populus, Betula, Actinidia kolomikta and Hydrangea.
Comment: USDA ARS 2004 Plant Expedition in association with MAFF Exfoliating brown bark on stems, fruit fully ripe. Most fruits have already fallen from the plants.
