Environment description: Primarily hardward forest with occas. Pinus virginiana and Juniperus virginiana off the road, typical Uwbarrie vegetation. Rhus arematica noted in drier woods edges.
Comment: Potentilla conadensis scattered throughout. Scattered often extensive colonies of Fragaria virginiana in a power line right of way on the right, and along road shoulders and road banks for at least 100 yds up Paul's Crossing Rd. to left.
