Locality: Field/edge of woods beyond 300 year oak and forester's home, just south of Rososhinz, 4 km southwest of southwestern edge of Poltava.
Coordinates: 49.5264, 34.5100 (Map it)
Elevation: 140m.
Georeference protocol: Lat/lon determined by GPS
Environment description: Open field plot at the corner of forester's property. Full sun, 0-1% slope with a southeastern exposure. Clay loam soil with fair drainage. Weeds indicate high soil nutrient content.
Number of plants sampled: 4
Comment: Site number 19. 500 fruits collected. Associated vegetation: Acer platanoides, Quercus robur, Acer tataricum, and Sambucus.

Narrative

Plants were frequently abundant. 30-40 foot trees with narrow crowns. Almost columnar in habit (narrow). Could be potential hybrid, but forester said they are pure cordata. Nearby trees at the barn are hybrids.
