Environment description: Numreous colonies of V. deliciosum, V. membranaceum and V. cespitosum, often in rings around fir and hemlock trees in dry bog area.
Comment: There is concern that the berry fields, which have been harvested by the Yakima Indians for generations, are being overgrown with trees.
