Type = Hybrid. Per Brooks and Olmo (see citation): "Orig. in Stillwater, Okla. by Herman A. Hinrichs. Agr. Expt. Sta. Okla. State Univ. Introd. in 1975. Seibel 5437 x Bailey. Cross made in 1952; selected in 1957; tested as OK 308. Cluster: medium with a shoulder; shank medium to short. Berry: medium, round; skin dark blue-black with bloom; juice very dark red; sugar 22%, tartaric acid %0.63; ripens Aug. 15. Vine: productive, self-fruitful, vigor medium to strong. Uses: juice, jelly, red wine."from vine location 24-5-21 also spelled 'Rubiyat'
