Locality: 30 km southwest of Zhaosu County.
Coordinates: 42.8775, 80.8800 (Map it)
Elevation: 1620m.
Environment description: From dugout area 3 m wide, 2 m deep near side of road in clay soil. Very dry site in rain shadow of Tian Shan Mountains. Clay loam soil. Slope is 1% with southwest aspect.
Comment: Other species: Achnatherum splendens, Agropyron cristatum, Heteropappus altaicus, Stipa capillata, Carex spp., Seriphidium transiilense.
