Environment description: Steeply sloping cedar grade. Full exposure, ~45 degrees of slope with a southern aspect. Calcareous, well drained, and very rocky soil.
Number of plants sampled: 26
Associated species: Silphium, Liatris sp., Andropogon gerardii, Grindelia, Bouteloua curtipendula, and Echinacea pallida (see Collection number 037).
Comment: Site number 057. ~10% of each cone collected (no whole cones taken).
