Locality: Khovd Aimag, Mankhan Sum, fenced experimental farm that is currently being used as a hay-making area located about 0.5 km from Sum center.
Coordinates: 47.4228, 92.2269 (Map it)
Elevation: 1400m.
Environment description: Old river terrace at edge of the Sum center that is irrigated to produce hay. Soil rubbly, gravelly valley outwash soil. Dominant veg. Salix, Populus, Phragmities communis.
