Environment description: Open edge of trail by stream. With Cornus canadensis, Echinopanax horridum, Menziesia ferruginea, Tsuga mertensiana, Picea sitchensis, Lycopodim annotinum, foam flower, Drypteris dilata.
Comment: Collected from the wild and brought to the NCGR-Corvallis. About 10 plants by trail edge, near stream edge. open pollinated fruit sample and clone collected
