Environment description: Growing on slope by trail to the fruit and vegetable development board nursery in Booni. River valley in mountains. 75% exposure; Slope 30deg.E.; Soil- silt, with few stones.

Comment: Associated vegetation: Crataegus songarica, Hippophae rhamnoides, Salix sp., Populus sp., Rosa sp. Possible ornamental, relatively large leaves. Fruit dark red, 5-6mm diam.; 2-7 fruit per cluster. Ripe at time of collection.
