Large deciduous tree ca 15m tall w/2 trunks from base, tiered nearly horizontal branches beginning 5m above ground; crown spread ca15m; trunk fluted at the base, 3-angled above; bark smooth gray w/prominent lenticels; lvs dull med green w/ pale veins above, glaucous beneath, many turning bright yellow; petiole yellow or red; frt in pendulous panicles, rachis purple, berries dull to lustrous orange, roundish, 9mm long, 10mm in diam.
