Locality: On trail to Tae-chong Bong, above Han-gyae-ryong. Sorak San.
Coordinates: 38.1042, 128.4083 (Map it)
Elevation: 1300m.
Environment description: Growing with Pinus koraiensis, Abies nephrolepsis, Acer psuedosieboldianum, Quercus mongolica.
Comment: Multi-stemmed tree with almost white bark which is very exfoliating. About 10m tall with a DBH of about 30-35 cm. No leaves present. Herb. spec. NEK 175.
