Narrative
Handsome pure-yellow flowers. Completely hardy at N.H., bush 6 ft high x 8 ft broad. Foliage exc. Might be useful for breeding landscape roses. Collector rept. yel. fl. Prof. Risley rept 5 pl. pink petals. NE '59. Slate #1, 1g bush, hips red, full bloom. 6/15/63 flws open. Fade to white. 1 row of petals, free from black spot. Needs two strats. 1/15/64. Quite upright habit., limited side branching, twigs very slender.
