Narrative
Perennial, erect species taxonomically close to Paspalum plicatulum but more robust (compared with the less robust cv. Rodds Bay, commercially used in Australia). Culms reaching 2m in height, 50-75cm long, and 3-10mm wide linear leaf blades and a very dense root system. A single flowering period begins in Florida about the first week of October with seed ready for harvesting about 4 weeks later. Seeds drop easily upon maturation.
