Locality: Sandy, grassland, plain, valley bottom, 20m from Boteti river, 24km E of Maun, Ngamiland Province.
Coordinates: -20.1333, 23.4833 (Map it)
Elevation: 940m.
Habitat: Grassland
Environment description: Site valley bottom, grassland, 20 m from river. Free drainage; sandy some clay, soil pH 7.6 (neutral, 6.5-7). Ten plants in 100 x 100 sq m area, 10 plants sampled, ripe fruit from each plant collected. Natural method of propagation seed; 100% flowering, 100% has ripe seeds, population well separated from others. Few scattered individuals within plant community. Dominant plant species Digitaria and Paspalum; Eleusine also present. No pests or disease observed.
