Narrative

A population of P. calleryana seedlings was donated to the city of Corvallis by Mel Westwood during the 1970s. These trees were planted along streets and in parks around the city. This tree, growing along Kings Blvd, was observed several years later by Westwood to have nice late red fall color. -- J. Postman 2003
