Snow cover 40cm, ground freeze to 70cm. Minimum temperature -30C. Perennial rhizomatous, 45cm tall, gregarious, forms large colonies, erect. Leaves bright green above, pale beneath. Ray flowers lavender. Growing in open, sunny area near headquarters buildng parking lot, common.
