Narrative

Adapted to short duration, terminal drought environments similar to those of peninsular India or spring sowing in West Asia. Growth habit semi-erect, height 39 +/- 6.6cm. Anthocyanin pigments present in foliage. Root system length and volume, large. Crop duration short ranging from 90-100 days with pink flowers appearing in 39 +/- 2.1 days. Seeds large, 30 +/- 0.3 g/100 seed. Seed coat brown desi type. Resistant to terminal drought of short duration environments
