Small,erect, and spreading annual; browsed by sheep. (Plant Inventory Vol. No. 163). The area occupied by the statesof Fars, Esfahan, and Yazd, especially between the cities of Esfahan and Shiraz, contains large amounts of Gypsum and is, therefore, somewhat sterile. (Collector Notes)
