Narrative
Came from a cross of sweet turnip and cabbage. Common name is just Russian turnip. Nothing on original envelope to indicate hybrid origin. As grown by Geo. Slate and roots presented 11/14/66. Root small, 12-13 cm by 6 cm, white, external 6-10 small branch roots. Inclined to have deep cut dimples. Very susceptible to root maggot.
