Locality: Slopes in ravine terraces, rock fences, limestone soil, Ortakoy village, 8km NE of Kiziltepe then 7.7km NW on road through Kocalar, Mardin Province.
Coordinates: 37.3000, 40.6333 (Map it)
Elevation: 770m.
Comment: Spreading shrub to 2.5m tall. Leaves dense grey pubescent. Fruiting abudant. Pericarp splitting and exposing endocarp. Region of extensive fruit and nut cultivation. Cultivated almond trees in vicinity. Reported to be used as a rootstock.
